Boot Cuffs III

Here we go again … another pair of boot cuffs!
(I need to get a pair of boots so I model them .. they’d make so much more sense on a leg than on a water bottle!)

These have a little more ruffle on the top, as well as the bottom and are laced together at the front (or back).

I also created a little bracelet that doubles as a ribbon, tying the two cuffs together. (pix 2)

For the main section, I used the same pattern as with the the last pair: single crochet across and then double crochet in the back loops.
For the ruffles, I did 5 dc in one stitch opening and then slip stitched in the next space and repeated.
The top ruffle had a second layer, with a sc, hdc, 5dc, hds, sc, arcoss the 5dc in the first row.

the bracelet is:
row 1: dc, chain 2, dc
row 2: sc; 2 sc in the chain 2, sc
row 3: repeat row 2
and continue on with the above pattern.
I ended with the double row of sc so I could attach a button to the end.
