I had a request for a scarf like the white one I made (but for an adult).
So back to the store I went and picked up some more yarn.
I spent the afternoon hooking away and I got it finished before supper.
Picking the button was the hardest part — found lots of options. One kept coming up out of the big box of buttons but we kept putting it back. We had “the perfect button” but as I sewed it on, it broke in two. Back to the box we went and ended up with the one that kept popping up. I think it looks great. It obviously was supposed to be!
For this one, I started with a “chain 45”.
On the third ball of yarn, I started the ball by making the “belt”. This way, I knew I could use the rest of the yarn to make the scarf and I didn’t have to worry about having enough left.
total of 52 yards x 4. Colour: Cheeky
The Bernat Colorama has been discontinued so these “scoods” are extra special.
