Dog Coat (Version II)

Version II .. or “attempt #2”.

Here is my first attempt — without the advantage of having a dog in my presence.

After trying the first version on the pooch, the section between the collar and the front legs was too long …
The dog “owner” loaned me one of the older sweaters to use as a pattern. Similar size, just longer in length.

Now, I have to wait again to see if this one fits. It should. It might not be tight around the body but that should be ok.
I love the pattern.

And now, I’ll make one in green for the second dog.
