Hello from Washington State

Hi everyone,
I just found this site and wanted to say hello. I am not new to woodworking. I have been doing handyman type things on the side for more than 25 years. I prefer to make things than fix things especially now that my knees aren’t so young and doing flooring or things like that don’t interest me anymore.

I’ve made a few pieces of furniture and really enjoy just making the smaller type items (cutting boards, etc..) which I do every year for Christmas. The rest I sell here and there as time and my day job permit.

I really look forward to learning from many of you. Looking through the gallery of creations, I am just amazed at the talent. It humbles me.

Regards,
Tim

Note: Each of the aforementioned are in the country known as Washington

Your time spent woodworking on the side while holding a day job parallels my woodworking early on, for about 20 years. It gave me something to look forward to after work and make a few dollars on the side. You can defiantly learn skills from people on this site, they are the best!
