Next up the axel It is made of oak and is one piece. I will modify this to make it easier to disassemble the wings for transport. I add holes and glue in threads so i can bold on the top and of the axel
It toke me two tryes to get this wrigth.
Now i will put the axel on the lathe At the back of the axel there is a metal sleve
To strengthen the "head" of the axel there are metal slings adding threads with a M2 die
Putting them on the axel en adding the cap so the bolds are hidden
