This is part 1 in a 37 part series: Spinnekop

  1. Preparations
  2. Onder tafelment

  1. Zeilen

This is a repost from LJ. So I can continue the series.

After building a new woodworking workshop last year I was searching for a new project to build.
Being a miller (voluntarily, hobby at Deelmolen or Grevensmolen) and after building a small windmill before.
I wanted a new challenge. So I went on the internet looking for some nice drawings of a windmill I could make in miniature.
And so I stumbled op un these drawings (sheet 1) and sheet 2)

After doing some research I also found some old pictures of the now demolish windmill (back in then 1950's)

This looks like a nice project to build at a scale of 1:10. The mill will end up just over 90 centimeters.
I will be making some changes as notes on the drawing state some bad repairs and because I don't want to use concrete for the foundation and ground work. This will also be made in wood like it probably was at the building of this mill.

I look forward to reading this blog series. Thanks for reproducing it here.

I have enjoyed following this build. Thank you for taking the time to move it over here.
