I used two of the pallet timber stringers to do some preliminary work Jointed them on the table saw then ripped them in half Chopped them in half on the drop saw attached the jig set 45 deg and set to work I needed the jig to stand them off past the center of the saw blade so I didnt produce depth ramps in the timber after a couple of cuts I finally adjusted the depth stop set to work. These are only experimentat test pieces at this stage to gauge the effect. Initial dimensions were 30mm squares then I tried 60mm squares. Cutting parallel edging produced this effect Checking with the working photographs It should look something like this dimension wise. then I made the separating sections. Looks like it may work on the frame work. Tthe drawers and doors will be another challenge.
