Bread box
It's a bandsaw box. Basswood 5" x 5" x 12" blank. Scraps for the breadboard, mahogany drawer. Acrylic paints and Mohawk Dead Flat lacquer.
I made templates for the inside of the bread slices, to make them match.
Magnets hold the heel slice to the bread board, and the box drawer slice to the loaf.

Sweet Hairy, fooled me, I was thinking is was a typo on the title, that's no box it's a bread board. Very clever design and well done.

When I first saw it, I thought " What the heck, that's a bread board not a box". That has to be as realistic as I have ever seen. Excellent job !!! Mike
