here is a collection of some bowls ive turned the last couple years. i didn't want to do a dedicated project for each one. the first is the very first bowl i ever turned made from mrytlewood. the second and third are also made from mrytlewood. bowl number four is an unknown wood that require a little help frrom ca glue as it was bug eatin. bowl five is from claro walnut i bought from cook woods in oregon. it was turned green and wet. after the rough turning i let it dry then completed it. bowl 6 is turned from mahogany with a band of turquoise in the rim.

this cup was turned from a mimosa tree i cut down several years ago. very hard dense wood.

just a simple weed vase turned from a log from the firewood pile.

Nice Pottz! I especially like the last one, with the inlayed ring.

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Great job Pottz. The weed vase stands out.

Very nice Pottz. My favourite is the first one. Love the grain pattern on that one.

Very nice group of turnings, each has it's own characteristics that sets it apart. I like the rings on bowls 4 and 6, but the color and grain on #5 the mahogany bowl, is really beautiful.
Realy can't decide which whan looks better.

Don't tell me you're back making bowls... Though W told you where to put them a while back... or was that "asked" rather than "told"?

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
