Crank and pushers for saw mill

Last winter I made 3   1/2-13 threaded posts for John Goodwin at the Dead Tree Salvage saw mill. To go with them I made these 1/2-13 pushers that hold the wood tight and I made the crank handle to fit them. The crank is made from 1/2" Rebar with a swivel handle at the back end. I painted the parts red so they would not get lost in the sawdust laying along side the saw mill.

Good job. I also paint things red, so they are easier to find. I need to start painting my boots and glasses red also. lol
Metalworking, an important addition to woodworking, not only for jigs & fixtures but also many project components such as table legs, and you are as adept here as with wood. Good job, well done.
Good job Jim, I am sure it was greatly appreciated.

Thank you all for the nice comments.
Hi Pottzy. I thought I did enter it under metal working, but I don't see where there is a distinction shown in the project. If you look at the list of projects and go to all projects and click on metalworking, it is among the 65 posted there.....cheers, Jim
