Trapezoidal lock miter outside corners became a challenge.
Angled tongue and groove construction was fun to do.

Very pretty,  I love that kind of work.
Beautiful wood selection, nice grain match around the corner.

Figuring out how to do something you have never done is what makes a good challenge.

Looks great!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Very nice looking piece.

Real beauty!

Didi you use veneer or solid for the panels? The color match is excellent between all the pieces.

I'd hate to be the first one to get any kind of stove top stains on that!
Absolutely beautiful! Professional quality all around.
beautiful hood.

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Great craftsmanship.  that is beautiful!
Great job.

I do wonder how the wood will work over time. All the kitchen hood I have seen eventually collect a coat of "grease" on the outside. Did you use a finish that will stand up to that and the need to clean it?
Goodness that's pretty!

Looks way too professional. SNORT

More seriously, it's one of those things that, when you walk into the room it's in, you feel like you've landed on society's high side.
Very classy hood! Nice design!!!!!!
