I posted this on LJ back in 2017, but this being my new base, it is just as poignant as it was back them.
Consequently I'm reposting this forum entry under a project, just to prove how obnoxious I can be if pushed... nevertheless the sentiment with a water welled eye, is true and I offer this gesture. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've never been one to blow trumpets for birthdays and after all Christmas is supposed to celebrate a birthday, though there is a tendency to put that in the back seat of our driving forces.
However, that doesn't preclude me from appreciating the camaraderie I have acquired here at Craftisian and the interaction with fellow members over the past 12 months. I appreciate your friendship and candour and thoroughly enjoyed the banter over some somewhat inane revelations. The skills exhibited are well worth filling away in that part of the brain that alcohol cannot erase.
So to all you Crafties and Craftettes… I'll have a vino or two for you over the next few weeks and hope to continue our woodworking intimacy for another 12 months in 2024.
If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
A Very Merry Christmas and Healthy Years ahead for much much more. Valued friends are indeed special and thought of during this time of Joy. Your present, well at least in spirit, is under my tree. Merry Christmas not only to you but to all our Chrafties.
Merry Christmas my friend! I enjoy our friendship tremendously, and so does Mrs Moke. She asks all the time what our Aussie friend is up to. Most of all I enjoy the lengths you go to for a laugh or entertaining photo ( even if my bald spot does show)......PARTY ON DUDE!!!!!!!

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.
I'm with Bentlyj on this one. Some of your comments are over my head, but you still make me laugh almost every post. I hope you and yours have a great holiday down under Alex (take that anyway you want).
Nice sentiment. I enjoy you and all the friends on Pottz Patio. I have learned a lot from all of you. You all cost me a lot of money with the tools you show off!
So are you cooking on the BBQ with a pizza in between the fire and grill (or is the pizza the fuel)? 🤔
Looks like a nice shady spot however! Tis the season to mock us northerners as we all come inside and cozy up to the fires. Be warned, we will reciprocate with vengeance in six months! 🤠
