I'm getting a little bit closer to completing this art deco jewelry cabinet. I still have the inside left, with a bunch of little drawers and doors, with a few hidden drawers. Then the final step will be to clear coat with lacquer. Thank you for looking!

And it's now at the next level of amazing! I'm lucky it won't be in my house. Once the finish is on it I would keep walking into walls because I would always be staring at this!
This is magnificent craftsmanship.
Somehow it just doesn't look "real" in that photo, sort of an ethereal presence on that pallet!

Truly amazing work!
Amazing work. Beautiful detail.

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Dennis you’re such a disciplined craftsman. I can’t wait to see the finished piece. I give it 5 Quacks Up! 👍

WOW and Awesome hardly cover this one, such a nice piece.
Holy cow your workshop is so clean and organized!!!  The jewelry cabinet looks like something right out of the 20's or 30's in one of the downtown Manhatten boutiques!!!  Amazing.
Wow! Right, it's really amazing!!

No name noobie here

Thank you so much everyone for your inspirational comments. They are truly appreciated. Ive been working on this piece for a little over a year now, only able to work on in  for about 3 to 4 hours a day. So , its very exciting to just get this far, not being completed yet. lol

Pottz: This piece is for my wife, then to be handed down to my oldest daughter. I'm also working on a new book about custom furniture, which this piece will be a part of it. Thank you for you very kind complements!

Petey: I was thinking about writing a couple of blogs on the steps. I did post one on the marquetry. Which part of the piece would you be interested in seeing some steps?
