a little addition to my assembly table,i saw something similar to this on a you tube video of a guy in Denmark, i think his company was called bench works, he specialized in high end watch makers benches  he had these racks on the benches in his shop, i loved the idea and it was fairly simple to make. made out of leftover poplar .i used rockler t track and rockler self adjusting clamps. 4'wide and 2' from the bottom peg hole to the top of bench but you could make anyway you want. this is great for when you need to work on the side of a large board. i never posted this i guess from you know where until i saw blaster stumps talking about something similar so i invaded you know where to retrieve this.

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Very handy addition to your bench, it'll come in handy more often than you know. I put something similar on my bench, with the purpose of planning board edges. I use this for edge jointing long boards, as well as molding planning edges for furniture decoration.
Enjoy this handy device, well done.
thank you OT !

Pottz,

Took me a minute to figure out how it works.  But sure it is a great to your shop assembly table.

Good idea. I could use that to clean up the sides of a live edge table I’m trying to finish. Nice job on the build as well.
If you ever get tired of dragging out clamps, this is a great solution that is both out of the way and there when you need it 👍
Looks great.  Someday if I get more space, building a "real workbench" would be on the list.  This looks to be a really useful feature.
thanks everyone.
