not cause it’s a revolutionary post, but because I’ve little to say.
Back in the days when I was churning out pens twice as fast as I could make pens, I experimented with various boxes for them.
One of my brain wave’s
brain wave, was to create a threaded box. Had issues with threads in the timber and by the time I realised it was a futile exercise, I only succeeded in a useless open ended (mind you it was in end grain), test piece,
Scrapped the idea and eventually settled on 3D printed inserts (gallery pictures) into whatever scraps of timber I found laying around.
Was a good seller until I discovered it was just used for customers’ illicit stash… and maybe a “charger” or two… if you’ve read Papillon, you’d know what I mean... there was a time when I knew how to read.

SplinterGroup commented about 5 hours ago new Just thinkin' here, but you could attach a pocket clip to the side so one could have it handy for the times one needs to whip out a pen for signing!
and a nib on the end so I wouldn't have to take it out of the box.
awsum, personally I prefer the grass in your boxes, non porous and can store liquids... much better choice.
