The little finger jointed box I made with the Hegner Finger Jointer has become the tray of a fundraiser truck for the local community clubs Easter Raffle.

The tray will be filled with Easter Eggs along with one other truck that was hiding in the cupboard.

Gluing up offcuts gives the truck extra character, adding furniture buttons as headlights & taillights.

The wheels are shop bought.

The finish is homemade Wipe-On-Poly by 3 costs.

Both Papa Smurf and Handy Smurf were very pleased with how the little truck turned out ready for imaginative play.

Nice work crowie! I can see a woodworker could really get into these wooden toys.

Very nice work, should be a seller at the fundraiser.
More quality out of the Crowie plant. Wonderful contribution Peter which will sell lots of tickets I'm sure.

Kerry - Working with wood, the smell the feel, is such a joy, its a meditation of sorts.

Great work. These make me smile, unlike the sight of a Tesla Cyber Truck that makes me laugh my a$$ off at people driving a dishwasher.
Looks like a nice pair of tipper lorries. Plenty of room for the little blue operators as well. Hats off!

Some of my most creative moments have been when I've had to cover up an error in my woodworking.
