Wine Cabinet G & G Style

Finally finished making the upper section of the G & G Wine Cabinet. There is some really fun joinery, a lot of mortis & Tenons.
Now I'm starting on the Marquetry of the Lady that goes on the front door. Also I need to make the wine bottle holders. The center of the panels has Madrone Burl veneer, along with Quartered Sapele hardwood with solid Gaboon Ebony for the accents and buttons. Thank you for looking!

This is one of those projects that makes me say "What am I even doing pretending to be a  woodworker?"
Amazing stuff there! Nice work!
It's all in the details, really like the door frame joinery, ebony caps on the end grain are wonderful for a surface typically left exposed.
Going to be exciting to see the interior and door panel finished out!
Excellent Dennis, this cabinet looks great. Love the crisp tight fitting joinery with the little chamfers.
That's real purdy!

Those are some nice curvy legs.
I really do like the design, and even with some plain woods, it would be spectacular. In the show pic the doors appear to have what looks to me to be quite the bookmatch. Do I understand you will be covering that with the Lady? Hope you post the finished piece, it will be wonderful, I'm sure.

Dennis, you'll need to put out another book.
Art that serves double duty as furniture.  Well done.
This is a beautiful piece, Dennis. The door design really stands out—it adds so much character beyond the usual straight rails and stiles. And those bell-bottom legs are a fantastic touch.

Dennis,

Couple of things:  First can we get some pictures of your shop?  "A my shop" has been started.  Yours looks interesting!

I saw your jewelry cabinet posted on FB.  Someone claiming it was theirs.  I posted it way yours.

Appreciate your work!

Beautiful cabinet. Great craftsmanship; all the details make it shine!
Thank you my woodworking friends for all your kind complements, it means the world to me!

George West: Thank you, Sir! It will be hard hiding the book match Madrone Burl on the door with the marquetry. Hopefully she will be beautiful enough to make it worth it. Thats ironic that you mentioned it, I'm working on my second book. It is going to be all about Custom Furniture a life time journey. This piece will be in the book.

Petey: I'll take some pictures of my shop and post them here on Craftisian. The FB posting is by The Wood Review, I have an article in there magazine this month and they are just advertising.  They are from Australia also they are big on Instagram. I post most of my work on my own page on Instagram under Dennis Zongker I make videos and pictures on the website. Thank you sir for you very kind complement. It's very much appreciated.
