Greene & Greene style Kitchen Hood

Here is a large kitchen hood system that I just finished making. It is 10 feet tall from the floor & still needs the Crown added to the top at install. My design is based off the Greene & Greene style. Made out of Quartered Sapele, Crotch Mahogany, & Gaboon Ebony Now I'm working on the Radius Island. The whole kitchen is designed with the G & G style. Thank you for looking!

The craftsmanship on this is nothing less than perfection. All details - inlay joints, pillow plugs, trim work, etc, and wood selection - are impressive. Beautiful.
Outstanding work Dennis! Love it !!
Fine work, love the shadow lines and the way you laid out the veneer banding!

Eager to see the rest of the pieces for the lucky kitchen owners!
your work is always exceptional. cant wait to this and the rest of the kitchen done.

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Beautiful! What’s the finish?

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

After your other stuff this is all you got? J/k  A 10' is a big piece of furniture to build. As usual the choices of lumber look great. The small details look amazing.
Outstanding as usual!! It would be fun to see the whole kitchen.
It's always fascinating to see some of your work.

Dennis,

Wow! What a rangehood!  That's stunning.  I'd be afraid to ever cook there because of the possibility of getting it greasy.  (Even the best system doesn't exhaust all the grease.  😟)
