Squid!
I have a bunch of small marble blocks leftovers from my last mable carving. I thought they would look great combined with steel so here is what I came up with. Pretty fun little projects! The one is 14" long and the other is 18". The marble is quarried somewhat locally, here on the island near Bamfield

Thanks..... On the small one I tapered them with a combination of power hammer, anvil and then sanders (flap disc and stationary belt sander). On the large one I just used the sander as I thought I would see if they looked better without so many tool markes.

Some peeps use a log and a chainsaw to make a bear. You Sir make art from your chosen materials. Very nice.
