Fruit Bowl
This bowl has 24 segments per row. There are 10 rows, and the base is made up of 34 segments. If I include my logo coin, there is a total of 275 pieces. It measures 4 1/4 inches tall and 8 1/2 inches in diameter. I used Teak, Maple, Wenge and Padauk and some mystery wood for the base. I think this might be my last bowl for a while. I need to find something else to make on my lathe.

Sweet looking bowl, very nice work. The glueup must have taken longer than the turning, lots of pieces.

wow thats a lot of work, but paid off very well. the woods are just gorgeous.
working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment,somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.
