Indiana State woodcarving

This is a woodcarving that I made for the Conner Prairie project in Indianapolis Indiana. This started out to be relief carving on the state but ended up being chip carving. The piece is approx. 4’-6” x 3’-0” and the poplar back panel is 9/4 with a applied basswood panel that is 4/4.

Roger,

Your carving is so perfect that if I didn’t know you carved it, I would think it was CNC’d. Thanks for sharing your great work!

Very Clean carving. All the corners I could see are well define and sharp.
