A few month ago I started building this toys and joys model. Most of the work was to make the wheels. A lot of the parts can move. I used mostly ash, padouk and oak. Below some more pictures.

Thanks for watching

Wow. I remember your step by step tutorial on the wheels from another project. These look even more complicated with the treads. Incredible.

Losing fingers since 1969

this is beyond fantastic if possible i would love to know your process for making the tires, but you did a fantastic job, its one thing to make a wooden toy, but when you have moving parts and they really operate like the machine you made is really GREAT JOB. YOU SHOULD BE ONE OF SANTA’S ELVES….

There's some amazing details there, Jan.  I love that tire tread!
Beautiful again!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

I can see dreams being acted out if a young person got to play with that beauty. Entire cities would be built.

Very nice Jan.
Wow!  All of it is great, but amazed at your ability to make those tires so realistic!
Thanks for respons. This one is from 2017. There is also a tyres blog, and I will do a search were it is 😀
