First I turned the blank but did not hollow it.The second step is painted it in black and let it dry. I used an old lath motor horizontally to create centrifugal force and dropped color paints while the motor was running.and let it dry again. Hollowing was the last step.

Quite a unique method Sam and a very nice result. I’m sure if I tried it I would wind up looking like the bowl!
