My first Backgammon Board. This is a Table top Board, constructed from Black Walnut, Black Cherry and a Pink Curly Cherry I found in Amish Country in Southern Tenn. The playing sections are cut on 10 Deg. laminated to a 1/4” Burch Veneer Ply Board for stability using Tight Bond 3 Glue. The Boarder is made from Black Cherry using a 45 Deg. Miter with Biscuits inserted in ea. joint. Measures 24″ × 29″ over all. Playing fields are 9 1/4 × 18″ ea. set up for 1 1/4" chips.
The finish is a Semigloss Lacquer. Thanks for looking and your comments.
