Simple over-TV shelf

I am not an experienced woodworker, so I love having simple projects that I can finish in a couple hours. This is a shelf that I made based on something my wife spotted on Pinterest. I finished the entire thing in the course of a few hours even with help from three kids five and under.

We’ll get pictures in the frames someday, but it already looks much better than what it is because of my wife’s decorating skills!

Thanks! @MsDebbieP, I need to take it down and apply finish – my wife was excited to have it up so she could figure out her decorations. I’ll just use some off the shelf finish from HD
