One of my favourite metal pieces. I endeavored to capture the fluid movement of the ray as it swam over the ocean floor.
This is one of my earlier pieces and I didn’t have many tools. Basically a welder and some torches
I didn’t have a swage block so I carved some bowl shapes ina 3’ timber. I soaked them and used them to hammer the shapes into.
I have this one on display in my studio
