I have to admit that I “borrowed” the idea, but I refined it a great deal. I saw a similar set in a retail setting, and after a bit of study, figured out the secret.

I enjoy making these trees because the materials are usually free, and I am repurposing wood that would otherwise be wasted.

I have made and sold or given away hundreds of sets over the years

These are much different than most wood Christmas trees. Very nice work.
