Made myself a mallet
I got tired of trying to get the black smudges off stuff from the rubber mallet I was using
Handle is wedged on either end and up the middle. It’s tight. All of ash and finished with oil. It’s light but really does the job.

Darn…should have shown the other side with the marquetry portrait of Margret Thatcher holding a hammer over the unions…If I get a chance I’ll retake the photo. It’s very “Banksy”

I like your mallet ! You can always print up a Banksy or Pasha 183 decal to
go on the blank side ; )

That’s a good mallet and will get the job done !!!!
Here is one I made but no logo 
It has a shock rubber absorber inside the head to keep the vibration feedback down .

Ash is pretty hard. it will withstand abuse.
I don’t have one yet but it’s on my to do list.
