Just finished one of these today and another with a little different look is almost done .
They were requested for Christmas but I just ran out of time and left them sit which was ok .
These had to have a little different look but the recipient could not tell me what look just that the new valet design I had made previously was the perfect layout .
I took it from there and hope this will be what they had in mind or atleast close .
Made from birch and jatoba with some walnut accents and base with a tan coloured cloth liner .
Dimesions are 17”W x 9”D x $ 4 1/4”H
Finished with BLO and a beeswax miniral oil top coat .
Comment good or not always welcome .

Stunning! I love it. The simplistic design, with the decorative flairs. The contrasting colours that show off the details. Great piece.

Marvelous design. Superb craftsmanship.

Very nice. On first glance I thought it was a coffee table until I saw the dimensions. With minor modification I think it would make a nice table with storage.

The "dish" on the top is a great touch, and the drawers - excellent design feature.

Sweet looking box, well-constructed with many details, well done.
