Thanks for sharing. I know the lot of us would not hesitate to go to sea in a boat that you built, even me and I am afraid of the water!

Nice interview , I envy you because I always wanted to build my own boat . Sounds like you really enjoyed the time building boats . And enjoying your work is what it is all about .

Fantastic interview Paul,building beautiful boats or doing your amazing Marquetry projects are way beyond many folks dream projects.

Wow, I am so inspired by reading this story! Even though you started about 35 years before I did, your suggestion about taking it slowly and making sure to enjoy the work is SO important to me! I do get discouraged because I am not able to build furniture on a regular basis as I would like to be doing, and because doing so would ensure that I am learning constantly… but I am getting closer every day to that dream, even at 59! Thanks for sharing your story, Paul!
