OK after some re education as to how to add to blogs it looks like I may have got it worked out.
Materials I am working with:- The pallet timber was sorted the 2 x 90mm x 1.9 M lengths became the top and bottom front of the Credenza The remaining various lengths of 65mm formed the framework and 2 x doors separated by a fixed panel and 2 x opening drawers.
So looking at the Jig Saw puzzle to better understand what I am attempting to achieve you will see the following. 2 x top and bottom rails they are about 1.6m 11 x vertical uprights 5 x are fixed supports for the frame, the remaining 6 are the vertical sides of the opening doors Drawers D1 and D2 are the faces of 2 drawers separated by a divider and housed between two fixed uprights.
First Hinged Door Next to the drawer is a hinged door, framed by two verticals and two top and bottom rails forming the door frame. In the center is seven sections that will become the door panel. Middle fixed Panel This is a exact duplicate of a door except its fixed. Constructed exactly as the first hinged door. Second Hinged Door This door is constructed exactly as the First Hinged door above and is located at the other end of the cabinet Some Dimensions Overall size Length stands about 1950 mm long and 760 mm high, without a top and a base at this stage. (working on a finished height of about 900 mm) depth TBA. The two top and bottom rails are about 90 mm x 1980 mm The 11 verticals are about 580mm All the Drawers, Fixed Panel and Hinged Doors are intended to be 400mm wide and around 580 -+ in height. The three raised panel inserts being approx 300mm x 520 mm. Due to the carved finish being replicated by a saw everything needs to remain disassembled with the exception of the raised panels and drawer faces.
Ha ha! Its been a puzzle for me, I assure you, trying to work off a couple of opportunistic shots I took at the Air B&B in Paterson NSW. As you can see I have had to chalk just about every part to ID its position and to ensure the correct orientation. Meaning Front Towards Enemy, to hide as much of the defects as possible, some will stay for aesthetics but most of the nail holes will be Plugged Have you ever watched Pigglet Races at field days?
