No more pill boxes, time to move on. This little box is made of Cedar and White Oak. I burned a couple of lines in the Oak and then using ammonia, I fumed it to get that chocolate color.

Nice. I like the detail!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

i like the way the oak came out without using any stain.

I’m glad I was able to be here for the last one. I like it. I also like your brand on the bottom and the burnt in lines.

If I may ask how did you burn in the lines so straight?

I have a feeling you will make more. 😇

The colors are really good on this one. Nice!
Looks great John, nice simple design and a quick project. Reminds me a bit of the old metal film canisters for 35MM.

Pill carton box?

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

No problem....just keep on turning them

The cedar reminds me of "Japanese Oke". It's cute!

James I used a copper wire strung between 2 pieces of wood, like a garot. I turn up the speed on my lathe and press the wire against the piece and the friction heats the wire and it burns the wood. No special skills needed. I just started using the brand this year and my family loves it too.
