Clothes Rake

We're getting older, have arthritic knees, and can't kneel to get clothes from the back of the front-loader washer.  So, a solution was reached. Looks just Like Mr. Rick's back scratcher, but slightly different configuration. Shorter, with fewer "teeth".

Necessity is the mother of invention! Nice solution!
well my wife is only 4'10" so yeah every extra inch counts when it comes to reaching. plus she's paranoid being to high, and i mean more than a foot off the ground !!!!!!

Man o man these rakes can be used everywhere. Just made one for raking the soil in a vegetable planter we have in our deck.
Thanks, folks! A bit of wakefulness atm. I should be sleeping. I think that the Sandman is catching up to me, now.

Good solution!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Multi use tool.   Like it.

Great solution for those ornery socks hiding in the back!

I also hate getting down to rummage. Thinking about just stacking the Washer and dryer
Thanks, guys! Splint, we could put the washer and dryer on pedestals but then the closet pole above them would be too close to hang any clothes up. Wife wouldn't like the step up, either. When this washer breaks, I'm going to get a top loader. This front loader needs wasteful clean cycles or it stinks like sewage. Not that efficient if it has to run for four hours on a clean cycle. I run that after draining and cleaning the screen so that the clothes come out less smelly.

Clever and healthy.

Steven, discovered the FL smelly issue a while back, now just leave the door open after use. Of course it is dry here, but it made all the difference.
I also though about the pedestals, but if I stack then I'll free up the floor space for a needed cabinet. No poles to worry about, but knowing my luck, whatever unit is on the bottom would need to be pulled out and fixed, often.
Thanks, folks!

Splint, we do leave the door open. I also live dry, here in southern CA. I also shortened the drain hose, because the mfg says that if it's too far in, it can siphon back. That didn't help. Next is to add a drain line for the screen, and put a ball valve on it. Then I can drain it after every use.  I have to run the clean cycle with bleach before doing any of my laundry, and the towels. Nothing like putting a "clean" towel to your face to dry it, and it smelling like mildew. I'll be at Lowe's tomorrow and will pick up what I need.
