Five Pencils

I found a surprise bag of pen and pencil kits on my workbench a week ago..about 50 of them !! My buddy Bruce ( Splinterbubba) had quit turning , sold his lathe and gave me this bag of kits!!!!!  So I pulled 5 pencil kits out and had all this maple  and cherry burl wood on the bench waiting to be something...................it is now pencil bodies!! These are PSI Trimline kits in Gun Metal finish. I had to make new brass bushings for gages to turn to and then switched to nylon bushings for the finishing. I sprayed the bodies with shellac to seal them and then they were finished with EEE and Shellawax.

THANKS, BRUCE......................................Cheers, Jim
