The choir at a local church ask me to make a music stand for their director who is retiring. It is made of solid cherry, two coats of Cabots stain, three coats of General Finishes water based topcoat and the easel has two poured coats of System Three epoxy finish. I used a trim router for the saxophone and blackened it with a thicken solution of India ink and table saw dado to flute the stand. And of course he is a saxophonist.
