Farmhouse table, bike stand and a prayer kneeler

Been busy the last couple of weeks but lazy posting. I built the table and the napkin holder for a golfing friend. The top is made from American chestnut and was a pain. This was wood in the neighborhood of 75 years old, it was thin and so dry it is to the point of being fragile. As you can see that stuff has some strong grain. It is 6 feet by 3 feet, with Georgian Cherry jell stain, with 3 coats of water based top coat. The bike rack was made for my son. With 3 boys, a wife and himself bike riders they needed it. Made from 2×4s and two coats of paint. The prayer kneeler is the second one I have made. This one is for my sisters pastor in Myrtle Beach who is retiring. Made from oak, the upholstery being duck cloth with prairie wheat jell stain and water based top coat. Thanks for looking. PS – as you can see by my shop, which is such a mess and junked up, I am in the running for the annual worst looking shop award.
