No Shop Starting Wednesday

Well no shop starting Wednesday April 22, for i am heading in to have major surgery on all of my sinus system, along with reconstruction of the right nostril canal. For i can’t breathe correct, as my nose was broken bad in high school and healed wrong. Now that ive become much older, its causing major infections and sleeping issues. So, i decided to have this done because antibiotics are no longer working to clear infections.
So the doctor has stated, i need to be out of the dusty environment till she says i can be back in the shop. Well i say, “we’ll see” lol. But, i might just get things ready to go for when i get back in there. Im going to put together my list of items to be made cut list etc.. ill still pop on here but, not Wednesday & maybe not Thursday, unless the pain has calmed dowm. Well my friends we’ll talk soon.

I had this done, the worst bit is when they take out the bandages. Hope it goes as well for you as it did for me. It really cleared up a lot of problems for me.

I also had it done because of a deviated septum and sleep apnea . Wolf is right , the worst part is when the remove the packing. My doctor told me some people pass out during removal . wish I had. Good luck , hope it helps.

I just wanted to updated everyone. Im doing much better than the first 3 days. The first two was much bleeding and massive migraine headache. the third day was all headache but the swelling became a lot and actually put pressure on the nerves of my upper teeth. It felt like i needed to have a root canal on evey tooth because it felt like the wrost abscess teeth of all time. But that has calmed down now. Headaches are still but more manageable. I see the doctor this Wednesday to see whats next and for the plugs well i lost one day two and ended up swalling the other one today. Yeah gross. Sick. Yuck. What was nice when being laid up Is the step son came out Thursday till sunday and sanded, stained and sprayed the finish on all the products i had completed Wednesday morning before surgery. So in reality as i write this ive missed one day out of the shop. Awesome! He’s a great young man. He actually works for a company that does historical restoration. So i trusted his work judgment and ethics. Ill be posting the shelves and wine racks as new creations.
