Can you call a 1 1/2" square strip screwed to the wall a clamp storage system? Well it stores my clamps so I do although I can’t see it winning any design contests. Pluses are cost, construction time and space efficiency. Minuses are ….. ummm …. can’t think of any. I don’t have as many clamps as I used to and don’t use these as often since I started using hot hide glue as my go to goo. The “system” however will work for as many clamps as you like.
The other rack was a spur of the moment idea that has worked fine for eleven years now, no complaints.
Thanks for looking,
Paul
The early bird gets the worm but its the second mouse that gets the cheese.
Tidy, with efficient use of space, and easy access. It may not be a contest winner but I like it.
I have fewer clamps but lack the free wall space to do something like this. My small clamps are attached to one of the legs of my clock movement test stand, C clamps are in a milk crate, and bar clamps are stashed away somewhere as I haven’t used them in years. Needless to say I won’t be entering this contest.

That’s very simple and holds a lot of clamps.

This is as good as any I’ve seen. I don’t think there is an ultimate clamp storage system. I could not use this system in my shop due to not having enough available wall height in my shop. There probably is a system that will appeal to a majority of woodworkers though and this might well be one of them.

Nice, easy, functional.
it doesn’t have to be any better than that.
I’d rather spend my time on my woodworking!
Thanks again Paul!

Nice easy system, but wall space, wall space.
Madts.
Tor and Odin are the greatest of gods.
But only half the wall space of other systems :)
