I was driving along ....
On my way home from the grocery store, out of the corner of my eye, I spied …. this
… well, actually, I spied 4 of them. With a “FREE” sign on them.
My heart went pitter patter … the ‘70 chairs that I have with my 1800’s dining room table are wiggly wobbly… or they used to be!
I drove quickly – yet carefully – home (took a lot of focus, I must say), all the way praying that the chairs would still be there when I got back! (Oh how I miss my pickup truck!)
Anyway, groceries out, and chairs in. And now they sit around my dining room table looking ever so lovely!!!

Lol thats awesome. Thats how I scored a dining room table no chairs. So we sit on the floor and reach up to get our food. Lol just kidding. Did get the table though just need to do some small repairs and it’ll be ready to hold our food.

I would venture that the people who placed the chairs for Free would be delighted to know of your delight to get them. It always encourages me to hear a nice story like this.
I love sending thank you notes to people who have given things to us Free because then they know that the treasure (or even what they considered junk) with which they parted is much appreciated.
I hope you’ll enjoy them for many years. Thanks for sharing.

The antique dining room table is just a shade darker than the chairs ..
And.. talking to my aunt today she said that she almost stopped but didn’t believe they were for free :D

What a great find! I love when folks recycle their items forward instead of putting them in the dump. Someone can always use the items the owners no longer want!

You were lucky to find a deal like that . Coming home yesterday I seen a sign that said free . I looked and it was a wheel barrel , just kept driving !

Amazing how nice that cane seat is. That’s a booger to weave. Did a bit YEARS ago. Have a rocker that could use a new seat, but I’m too lazy these days. :-)
