Member Of The Week is such an honour for me. Thank you to MsDebbie and Martin for such a wonderful site. I’m not the kind of person that takes recognition well. The woodworkin that I do and post is by far not the best nor the most professional on this site. Their are far more deserving like Shipwright, Keifer, lady left, Ellen, Jeff, brian, Lanwater, Pat, Jim, Steve, Tony, just to name a few…. To even be considered in such a group is an emerse honour. I try to help as much as I can when I can with some experiences that I have had. The most sharing people I find are woodworkers, they go out of their way to share skills. Thank you all so much.

Thanks for all the kind words folks. I had hoped to start the coffee tables before camping season as a blog, but alas the birch isn’t going to make it here in time. So I guess I’ll be blogging the build in the fall. Good news is I have ordered enough wood for the dining room table and ten chairs as well, so it’s going to be a busy building fall once I get back to the workshop proper.

Hobbies aren’t all about the destination. In fact they should be all about the journey. He who has the most fun wins and from your participation in this forum, I’d say you are getting a lot of enjoyment from woodworking, having fun, and producing some fine projects.
That makes you a winner and a perfect choice for member of the week.
Congrats!

Your so right Tony! I can’t imagine a more deserving person!
Thorreain, your always giving people positive comments and very helpful comments on projects.
